Splitting meals on ddp

Just wondering if we can still share meals on the dining plan. When we were there in 2006, there was way to much food so at non buffets we would split meals allowing us to try out many different restaurants. Can we still do this?

There have been rare reports of one restaurant or another not allowing this - but for the most part, you should have no problem sharing a meal (but only with others on your package )

Please note that the server will be doing about the same amount of work as if you ordered individual meals - so should be tipped accordingly.
