Splitting at Tiffins

I'm thinking about trying Tiffins for lunch on our AK day. We will be eating the AYCE skillet at Whispering Canyon Cafe for dinner that night, so we will want to limit the amount of food we eat during the day. Would we be able to split an entree and dessert at Tiffins? We usually split meals for lunch anyway, but we've never tried to do that at a signature restaurant.

Has anyone tried the pomegranate-infused chicken? Is it good? Are the portions large enough to split?

You can split however I found teh portion sizes to be on the small size

I never order chicken when I go out since I make it at home frequently, but this looked too good to pass up. I was right! It was excellent. I will order it again on our next visit I'm sure. As far as splitting, I'm not sure there's really enough to split unless you're having a couple of appetizers first.

My husband and I share most meals-adding a salad or appetizer. Portions are not huge, but since you’re doing the skillet for dinner it should be just enough.

I really liked the pomegranate-infused chicken, but I'm not sure its big enough to share. The dishes at Tiffins are definitely on the small side.

That's what I figured with a signature. I'm not sure sharing is the way to go there, but I also don't want to pay for an extra entree. I may just stick with splitting at Yak and Yeti.

I really enjoyed the meal I had there, and the restaurant itself is a treasure, artwork that is from the imagineers adn craftsmen who designed DAK over the walls. Very nice! The portion sizes are not large though, and unless you are not big eaters you will probably be hungry. You could stop at Nomads though, it is awesome!

Since you're doing a huge meal that night, you'll be perfectly fine sharing at Tiffins. If you're worried about not getting enough, simply get separate appetizers and then split the entree. We typically do this at all restaurants--Signature and non-Signature alike--and it's a completely accepted way to dine. As a bonus, it softens the blow of eating at Disney while on vacation.

My daughter and I have shared meals at just about every signature restaurant and its never an issue. Since Tiffins is so amazing you may want to consider sharing an app too just so you can try more things! While not the same food another potential option is to just grab drinks and some light bites at Nomads lounge. Its my favorite place on property!

Very strange. This morning when I opened the menu to Tiffins to look at it again, it has changed. There are more entrees on the menu that weren't there yesterday. At least, I don't think I'm crazy!

One other thing to consider. This will be our next to last day of our vacation, and I know from experience that we are usually stuffed by that point. I already know the AYCE meal at WCC will end up just being one skillet with no refills, but I like the skillet because you can sample lots of different things. But since it's later in the trip, I know we will want a light lunch. Any appetizers recommended? I will probably have to stay away from the bread since I'm allergic to the bread at Jiko and Sanaa. I'll double-check though.

You could always do Nomad Lounge attached to Tiffins. The menu is small plates.

Oooh, I love the updated menu! I was already a big Tiffins fan, but now I'm almost tempted to eat there twice next trip, as I think I'm going to have a very hard time deciding what to order.

Hmmm, looks like the Nomad lounge food menu may be updated, too. But it's been a bit longer since I looked at that one, and I'm just not sure.

The charred octopus is good, as is the falafel.
