If you want to split a meal at a table service restaurant, does Disney have any issues with this?

We're not huge bkfst eaters but are staying at the Poly and NEED to try the Macadamia pancakes! We'll be on the dining plan but would just pay OOP for this type of thing instead of wasting a TS credit. So I assume they shouldn't have any issues, right?

THANKS!

I'm thinking of doing the same thing.
We will be eating at the TS located at POR
Boatwrights. We ate there last trip and
while I love there Sweet Potato Pancakes
I just cannot eat but half the stack.
I don't think there will be a problem.
We will also be paying OOP for this.

We're also going to pay out of pocket for breakfast at Kona, I have to try those pancakes and I don't normally like pancakes ;) I hope sharing isn't a problem, I think the kids are going to split a Tonga toast and I'll share my bacon and eggs with them. It just seems like a lot of food otherwise.

I have never seen any problem in splitting/sharing at any Disney restaurant, whether full-service or quick (counter) service.

It cannot, however, be done for a buffet or other all-you-can-eat (family style) meal.

Actually, if you ask the server in advance many times they will have the chefs do the splitting for you in the kitchen and will come out on separate plates.

I don't know about the DDP, as I never use it.

Sharing has not been a problem at Disney World at all. Shula's is the only place that charges a fee for it.

As mentioned, the splits are usually done in the kitchen. And I will issue the standard warning. Disney is very generous with their splits. I have no idea how many pancakes you would normally get but if it's four, there's no guarantee you each will get only two. Usually with splits, you get the entree split but the sides are full portions. Learned that when our meal came with fries and we ended up with full portions of fries which is the one thing we really didn't want too much of!
