Splitting a check?

We are a party of seven. 4 adults 2children and 1 infant. So 6 of us will be on the meal plan. We have 7 TS booked one being CRT and only 7 TS credits per to go around. My parents will not be with us for our last booked TS (a character meal). Can we say at Coral Reef split the ticket and 2 adults pay with credits and the rest of us pay with cash/credit card and does it matter who uses the credits (meaning can the two who order the most expensive meal use the credits regardless of who will use the left over credits later). I hope I have made sense.

If I understand you correctly, yes -- you can do that. On our trip to WDW last year, my wife and I split payment for our dinner at Jiko. Mine, which cost more, was charged 2 TS credits on the dining plan. My wife's, which cost less, was paid for OOP.

are you all in one room? If there are 2 rooms, pay attention to which room the credits are used - so that you have the right card with you

but yes, you can have the person with the credit order the most expensive items, you are all on the DDP, just choosing how to use it

if you were not all on the DDP then Disney does not allow sharing. ok, that one made me a little dizzy

We are all in a 2br Villa so yes the credits are all connected to one room. Looking at the prices I think it will be most beneficial to us just to pay for the kids meals out of pocket at Coral Reef and use their credits at the character buffet since the adult meals are almost a wash, but I guess it really comes down to what people want to order.
