What is the best plan for doing Splitsville with a minimum wait? We want to go in September either late morning or early afternoon. Do we make a reservation for a lane before we get there (like an ADR)? Is there a better time or day of the week to go?

If you're planning to eat there, sign up for a lane when you arrive and then bowl after your meal. Don't reserve a lane in advance because it is very expensive to do so. We had a late lunch there last December and Splitsville was very empty and many lanes were available. It's busy in the evenings.

If you are staying onsite with a package you might receive a coupon book with a coupon for Splitsville. We were there in September and the discounts in the coupon book ended at 4 p.m. We arrived around 5 p.m. and it was $20 for EACH person to bowl for 1 hour and 15 minutes! I don't know if shoes were extra because there were three of us and $60 for a little over one hour of bowling is ridiculous so we left. Oh, I almost forgot, we were there on a Monday and there were lots of empty lanes.

We went as soon as they opened (10:30?). Anyway, there was a discount for bowling early. We bowled for 1.5 hours, had our lunch there (DELICIOUS!) and then moved on to conquer DTD. It was a great experience, good food and really fun time! Enjoy!

AP holders get 20% off for non-reservation bowling if you happen to hold AP's

the discount for AP applys for regular bowling, their early bird specials before noon ($12 for adults and $8 for kids under 9) doesn't applly. You also get discount on the food at anytime

We have an 11am ADR for lunch at Splitsville for our upcoming vacation. I didn't see anywhere to reserve a lane so I called. They told me that you can not reserve a lane. She said when we sit down to eat to let them know we want to bowl and they will hold a lane for us.

Can you just show up to bowl or do you need to have an ADR? We just plan on bowling when they open up

Yes, you don't need an ADR as that's only if you want a table to eat a meal. Just show up to bowl and there shouldn't be a wait at opening.
