My DH and I will have free dining for our next trip, we do not eat a lot and wonder if we can use just one TS credit and split a meal. I know that some places will let you split a meal that you are paying for but will they take just one credit.:confused3 This is our first time on the dinning plan. Thanks for all the help from the Dis experts.:worship:

You can share, as long as both people doing the sharing are on the Dining Plan. :)

There is no sharing at buffets, all you care to eat family style meals, the dinner shows or the skillet at Whispering Canyon Cafe. At each of these credits will be deducted for each person age 3 and older.

I understand about the buffets and family style but I am wondering if say we shared a steak dinner at Kona Cafe would they only charge us one credit? Has anyone had experience with this lately?

We were there in January and DH and I shared the steak dinner. DS didn't like any of the kid menu selections so he shared with his sister, drank most of DH's smoothie and ate a ton of the bread. We had no problems whatsoever and they only charged us the one adult and one child TS credit. I ended up ordering an appetizer also and paid for that OOP on a separate check but the waitress was great and rang everything through cheerfully. We weren't given a hard time at all.

Most TS restaurants will allow you to share. Via Napoli and Beaches and Cream are 2 restaurants where some people have reported they were not allowed to split a meal. One person said the same thing happened at the Plaza in the MK.
