Hi! I've been reading about split stays, and I think we'd love to try one on our next trip. I read that you need to make 2 separate reservations. How does that work with tickets? thanks!
You purchase tickets for the length of your entire stay.
The only caveat to to a split stay is if you want to. Do the DDP or want to get free dining. If you insist on having dining for both packages, it is suggested purchasing the no expiration option, and use them on a future trip.

You would purchase your tickets for the whole trip with the first resort and book room only for the second resort. If you want the DDP for the entire trip, I would purchase your park tickets with the first resort to cover this trip and get the minimum 1 day base ticket with the second resort. The 1 day base tickets can then be saved for a future trip. It gets expensive to do a split stay when you want the DDP for the whole time as you need to buy at least a 1 day base ticket (2 day base if free dining) for everyone in the room for both resorts. Good luck and happy planning .
