Split Stays? How does it work

I am considering spliting our Feb. trip between AKL and a moderate. How does moving from one resort to another work if you don't have a car?

Switching resorts is easy! The day of your switch, call bell services and tell them you are checking out of, let's say Port Orleans and switching to Animal Kingdom Lodge. Bell services will get your bags and move them to the new resort for you. You'll have to call bell services at the new resort when you get settled in your room and they'll bring up your bags. We did this in December from AKL to the GF. The staff at AKL was great! Very prompt and no problems at all with "hopping" from AKL to GF.

splitting your stay is quite easy! disney makes it virtually seemless for you!
all you do is when you are ready to check out, call bell services. they will come and get your luggage, just tell them what resort you are moving to, and they will make sure your luggage is delivered to that resort, usually by 2pm.
then you go about your day!!! go check in at the next resort whenever you wish. when you get to your room, call bell services and they will bring your luggage to your room!
very simple!!!!
