So, you're catching me on a rest day and I'm trying to be REALLY REALLY good because I have two half marathons this weekend + gym time to help work out the lactic acid and keep the strength components on track. With the exception of today and before other big races, I power walk every day (faster than some people's running paces) and hit the gym 5-6 days a week. Yesterday, I put in a hair over 6 miles before work and then hit the gym in the evening for 30+ minutes on the elliptical (med to high intensity) and it was upper body day and well as some abs. I also took the time for a hydrobed massage at the end.
