Split Stays and DDP Questions

So my husband and I have split our stay at WDW with a Disney Cruise. As part of our booking we have the following bookings:

4 nights Magic Your Way Package including POP Century + 9 day park hopper tickets to cover our full stay

4 night Bahamian Cruise Disney Dream

4 nights ROOM ONLY Port Orleans Riverside (POR)

Taking this into account we're banking on getting the Disney Dining Plan for our first 4 nights at Pop but obviously we won't get it on the 4 nights at POR because it's a room only reservation. We're going to pay to upgrade the package from the quick service plan to the regular/standard dining plan and take advantage of a room only discount on our second room only booking - best of both worlds.

So my question is this - because we're purchasing 9 day park hopper tickets on our pop stay to cover both bookings, if we don't use all of our dining/snack credits prior to checkout will they carry over to our POR stay? Wishful thinking I'm sure but I was hoping that they might somehow carry forward?

Sorry, but they will not carry over. All dining plan credits expire at 11:59 PM (midnight) at the end of your check out day from Pop.

yeah, it is not tied to tickets, it is tied to your resort stay.

Dining credits won't carry over past your checkout day even if you still have valid tickets; they aren't tied to your tickets. You can book that second reservation as a ticketless package with dining, but you can do this only by calling WDW.
