Split stays and ADRs

So say I book a split day for 4 nights at Resort A follwed by 4 nights at Resort B. When my 180+10 day mark hits for Resort A, can I book ADRs for the Resort B part of my trip on that day, using my reservation number for Resort A (i.e., can I book all my ADRs for the entire trip when my 180+10 day mark hits for Resort A)?

Or, for ADRs during my Resort B stay, do I have to wait until my 180+10 day mark for resort B?

I know this question has been asked and answered before on these boards and elsewhere, but there seems to be somewhat of a lack of consensus, regardless of whether the ADRs are made over the phone (different CMs give different answers) or on-line.

Anyone had any recent experience here or can otherwise shed some light on how this issue is currently being handled?

We did ours about a month ago...we called and CM told us we would have to call back at the 180+10 day mark for 2nd ressie. I very nicely asked CM if she could at least try to schedule for our whole trip. She said she would try and VOILA! We were able to make all our ADRs at the 180 day mark from our 1st ressie! Good Luck to you and it never hurts to ask or even call back again if you don't get a CM willing to try.

I've done lots of split stays and have always been able to get all my ADRs for both trips at the 180 day mark from the first reservation.

Book at 180 days out regardless if you have a room reservation or not. We always book our main ressies at 180 days out (Le Cellier, Garden Grill, Chef Mickeys, etc) to make sure that we get what we want. We do it through the Disneyworld.com site and it links them to our room ressie once we make the resort reservation. While this happens on a very rare occasion, it's nice to know that we can book ressies first without already having a room ressie.
