If you want to hit a park on the day you’re checking out of one resort and checking into another, will Disney take your luggage from the first resort to the second so that’s it’s waiting for you?

Yes. You can talk to bell services and arrange that.

Yes, same as at the onsite resorts.

Disclosure, we’ve never utilized it as we tend to rent a vehicle

Waiting for you is subjective according to friends, who related it often doesn’t appear until 4:30 - 5 pm. Don’t pack up anything you will need prior to that time.

Yes. All but the waiting for you part. It may not arrive there by checkin. All depends on the luggage system schedule on how they process deliveries to each resort that day.
