I never did one before so I have a question concerning Disney Magical Express. How does checking into one hotel and leaving from another effect my reservation if at all? Thank you for your help

If you use the webform, you would fill out the information twice. The first time through, you would provide the resort you are staying at first and only your inbound flight information. The second time though, you would provide the resort you are leaving from and only your outbound flight information.

You can also call MS to setup DME. Make sure to tell them you are doing a split stay and they will basically do the same as above.

We find that MS often fails when inputting from the web form. For our stay next month, they input an incorrect address for our DME reservation. We always call DME directly after MS does their thing to verify or correct the reservation. (866) 599-0951 is their direct phone number. DVC DME reservations need to be placed by DVC first due to their accounting requirements.

When you check into 2nd hotel check they have correct departure info. If not change I then. No problem at all!

And we've done split stays when we were using DME several times, and there was never a problem. Once we didn't receive the DME sheet and I had to call for the info. Turns out that it was the resort's fault-they'd written the wrong room number (transposed digits), but everything was fine with DME.

HI..we are about to put this to the test ourselves...1 night at AK, one night at BW & then onto AoA for the rest of our stay... my TA made the AoA reservation but I called ME & made sure they had 4 of us coming into AK one day, the other 2 from our party arriving 2 for AoA, and then finally all of us leaving ... if this all works out I will be impressed!

One night stays in a resort are fine if you just want to check the place out but you don't even get settled in over one night.

I normally couldnt agree more...BUT we had this trip planned originally with 2 nights at Pop (for non park days) & the reset at AoA for free dining promo but when our purchase went through for DVC & we had a few points to use, it was a no brainer to find what we could so we could test out our dvc resorts! :)

Spinning a split stay ...................... my family thinks it seems like two different vacations within one.
