We have a 6 night stay coming up, 6 adults, first 4 nights at OKW and the last 2 at Copper Creek. We are on the wailtlist (DVC), for that middle night at Copper Creek but I'm losing hope that it will come through. That night we need is available at Boulder Ridge. I'm trying to balance having enough time to enjoy the Wilderness Lodge with having to move an extra time. Right now we will check in Thursday afternoon, have dinner at Storybook Dining, have Friday there but checking out Sat morning. WWYD??? We have stayed at OKW many times but never at Wilderness Lodge.

I would keep hoping the middle night opens up and if not just go with the reservation as it is now. Two nights is short but you already have it booked. It'll give you a little feel of the resort.

We recently did two nights at POFQ before moving to BWV for a week. It was short but I saw enough at POFQ to know I really enjoyed my stay and would stay there again.

I don't think i would add BRV with the thought of having to pack and move everything for a 2nd time. I guess you could poll your party and see what they want to do. I guess you will just have to soak up as much of CCV as you can while you are there and plan your next trip to hopefully stay there longer.

I wouldn't move 2 times. I would keep the plan as-is. If the middle night opens up, then you move a night sooner but still only moving once. Packing up and dropping bags off and waiting for them to be delivered once mid-vacation is enough for me.

Our last trip was planned 74 days out for a stay during Spring Break. Due to that, I was eventually able to piece together a 9-night stay with three moves. This was down from the initial 6 moves. I was able to get AKL-Kidani for every night except the one middle Tuesday night. My waitlist never came through, so we had to move to BLT for that one night. It was pretty easy because I made sure to plan for the move. We kept all our bags, including food with AKL bell service. Only bringing the essentials for the one night. I had even packed one suitcase inside a larger one to have the extra piece of luggage to throw all our groceries in.

It is doable to move twice but less disruptive on a longer stay. I have done two moves during a longer stay and Many split stays with one move. Sometimes you get lucky and the room is ready when you arrive at the new resort but you can’t count on it.

I forgot to mention we will have a rental van. We do take resort breaks from around 2-5, so on our move days we would hang out by the pool until our room was ready.
