Was wondering if they would allow us to split our stay between Pop (4 nights) and Beach Club (3 nights) and still get free dining. Anyone know?

You would need to book two separate packages with at least 1 day of park tickets per package. As long as free dining is available during all yours dates that part shouldn't be a problem.

Just be aware that some are saying that when you call to make your ADRs at the 90 plus 10 day window for your first set of reservations, you might only be able to make them for that first length of stay. Then you will have to call back x amount of days later within the 90 plus 10 for the second reservation.
Does that make sense?
Someone also said they had no problem making the ADRs for their length of stay with their first reservation.

Can anyone share their experiences of how this worked with ADRs for a split stay with the new reservation system?

Good question OP, we're planning the SAME thing, for next year. I'll ask the CM when we check in what they say, just to be sure! ;)

I was thinking about doing this too. We have 10 nights booked at the All Stars with the free dining. I think it's almost cheaper to keep my 10 night package at the All Stars and just book another room for the few nights that we want to stay at a different resort (maybe Carribean) and not check out of the All Stars until the last day. I already made my ADRs so that's not a concern.

I'm a newbie (this is my what...THIRD post or something)...what does "90 plus 10 day" mean? I have gathered that ADR's can be made only up to 90 days out, but the 10day part of that phrase I've been seeing around here has me all confused again *throwing my hands up in air* Help me! I am also going to be stalking this thread as that's what I would love to do (split stay...start low, end high)

It means when you hit 90 days out from your check in date, you can book ADR's for that day and up to 10 days afterwards.

In the past if you were staying for a week, you had to call 7 days in a row to book an ADR for each day 90 days out.

Thanks, Matt!! Mighty appreciated!

If you go on the Restaurant/Dining sub-boards, you will read a lot about the 90 plus 10 ADR system, and I'm sure there is a sticky on the top, which is a thread that remains with set information about all you need to know about dining, etc.

I'm sure there are others that can explain it better than I can, but as a guest staying on Disney property, you can start to make make your ADRs 90 days in advance of your first day of arrival. Then you can make up to 10 days worth of ADRs beyond that.

Like I said, read over on the dining board and you'll get the hang of it quickly.
Happy planning!:)

1) Yes, you can do it.
2) But, with having to buy new tickets, you lose any advantage.

I agree with Rusty Scupper on this one. The answer really is , "NO."
It technically CAN be done, but is not worth doing. You need to buy at least one day tickets to make each stay in to a package - you can't carry over the free dining on two different reservations.
The price of day five of a park ticket drops to like $3 per day. So instead of getting day five through seven for $10, you will be paying more like $200 for those three days.

The only thing that may be worth doing - is staying a day or two at the end of your stay without going into the parks.

Your dining credits don't expire until midnight of the day you check out - if you still have any left. So in thoery, if you are careful - you can stretch your credits to make sure that you have enough to get through your checkout day.

But the second ticket doesn't need to be used on this trip.

You could buy 7 day tickets for the first part and 1 day tickets for the second part. Use the 7 day tickets on this trip and save the one day tickets for a trip in the future.
