Split Stay with Free Dining Questions

Hi there! We are planning on going 11/24/16 - 12/1/16 and staying at Pop. Free dining would cover our stay from 11/26 - 12/1, and then it seems we'd have to get a room only reservation for 11/24 and 11/25. I have a couple of questions:

1) How do I request that we have the same room for both reservations, and how likely is it that the request would be granted?
2) It seems we can activate the tickets early (since they'd be tied to the 11/26 - 12/1 free dining reservation) by visiting Guest Services at a park on 11/24. I understand we wouldn't be able to make advance FP+ reservations for 11/24 and 11/25 until after we've arrived and activated our tickets early, correct?
3) Am I correct in assuming that, even if we activate our tickets on 11/24, we couldn't start using the dining plan until 11/26?

1. You'd need to put the request in on both reservations for continuing, and they'd need to be the same room class. Chances are good.

2. You should be able to make advance FP+ actually.

3. You could not use Dining until you checked in for the resort stay including dining. DDP is linked to resort check-in and nights, not tickets.

Thanks so much! Are you sure I can make FP+ ahead of time for 11/24 and 11/25? I thought the tickets would be tied to my reservation that starts on 11/26 so that would be the first day of my FP+ availability when booking ahead of time. Maybe I'm not understanding it correctly.

If you are picking up package tickets early, you WILL NOT be able to make FP+ reservations for the 24th and 25th until you visit Guest Services at WDW to have your tickets separated from your package. Until you do this, the system won't recognize that you have valid tickets for any day prior to the 26th.

You will not have access to your dining until the 26th.
