Split stay with free dining question

Can anyone tell me how this would work? We are currently booked at POP for 9 nights with 8 day base tickets. I'll be calling in the morning to hopefully add free dining. We are fine with the QSDP and won't be upgrading. We are kind of toying with the idea of moving to CBR for the last two nights of our trip. So my question is, how would this work with the dining plan? Would we be upgraded to the BDP for those last 2 days?

You would have to make two separate reservations. (One for each different resort.) This would also require two separate deposits, and buying the required tickets for each reservation for a FD package.

I was thinking about doing the samething with csr/akl. But it didnt work out well because of the the split res you have to purchase two day tickets again to get free dining at the second hotel and if i took the 20/30/40 discount i would have to pay oop for dining so I just decided on CSR for the whole trip. Good luck maybe someone on here can offer a better way to do both and use the free dining.

You would lose the free dining for your last two days at CBR unless you purchased another "package" for those two nights which would require you to also purchase two day tickets for everyone. It really would not be cost effective.

If you did 7 nights on a free dining package, your dining credits expire the day you check out at midnight, so you could potentially stretch your credits to cover that day. You'd be better off paying out of pocket for the rest of your meals if you did 2 more nights than to pay for 2 day tickets for everyone.
