MY DH, DS, and I will be staying at the World for a total of 6 nights (3 at SSR & 3 at VAKL Kidani Village). We are planning on doing the DxDP for the first 3 nights and the DDP for the second 3 nights. My question is this, on our overlap day, if we have a TS credit left from the DxDP but choose to do a QS for lunch so that we can do a TS for dinner, will they let us use a QS from the 2nd reservation plan before we use our last TS credit from the 1st reservation? I am just wondering if they consider one dining plan complete if we start using credits from the next one.

Thanks in advance!

The dining will be linked to the individual stays, so you can use credits on the first and last days of your stays (as well as the middle days for that reservation). You could only "borrow" from one plan to another on the middle day of the stay... the day of the transfer from one resort to the other.

Someone correct me if you think otherwise.

You cannot borrow from one plan to the next, for example, use 1 credit from each plan to pay for a 2TS meal. The system won't do that.

OP you'll need to make sure the dining establishment knows to use a QS credit and not your last DxDDP credit. If there is any question about whether they got it right, you'll want to go to guest services to get it straight before your dinner that night.

We were in this situation last January (deluxe then regular). We had to use every single credit from the first dining plan to start using credits from the 2nd resort. Not sure if things have changed since January.

Since the deluxe plan has "meal" credits which do not distinguish between counter or table service, I doubt you'll be able to use a credit from the second plan while the first plan could pay for it. If you had a regular plan with only table service credits left, I bet it would work.

Thanks for your feedback! Probably just going to play it by ear/wait til we are there and talk to Disney directly. If I think of it while I'm on the phone with DVC at some point, I may ask that CM to see if they have a definitive answer. The good thing is, we still have lots of time before we need an answer.
