Another question on my split stay, i have 3 reservations over 5 nights. If I have them "linked", will staff take care of moving my luggage between resorts if I bring them down to the front desk each time I checkout?

It doesn't matter if the reservations are linked if you are moving between Disney hotels then bell services will move your luggage. You can bring your things to them or they will come to your room to collect it.

You can't link reservations at different resorts.

Bell Services can have your luggage transfered, You need to check out by 11:00 and your luggage will transfered to the new resort between 3:00 & 4:00.

Really?!?! They'll come get the luggage from the room? That would help us so much. Why did I think I would have to take my luggage TO bell services?!?

Yes, bell services will come to your room and collect your luggage. You need to be in your room when they arrive and a gratuity is customary.

;) The one time we let them move our luggage from Pop to AKV, they could not find DH's pelican case with all his expensive camera equipment for an hour. We have also had other people's luggage delivered to our room when were not there. They do make honest errors but you need to be aware they do make them.

We will just get a taxi on our next split stay from BLT to AKV in Nov and deliver our luggage ourselves to bell services at check in. Bell Services is always nice and very helpful and we tip accordingly.

Are you talking about DME (IN RED) above? If you are moving resort to resort BS will not bring luggage to your room if your not there, this only happens with DME.

We have done probably 30 transfers over the years and have never had any problems. We always make sure that we watch the Bell Person fill out and attach the transfer tags and we keep the receipt.

I see that Bell Services will pick up your luggage from your room. Do they also deliver them to your room at the new resort? Or do you have to pick them up at check in and bring up yourself? We plan to do this on our upcoming November trip and have never done a split/stay before either.

They will deliver if you ask, as with pickup you need to be in the room when they arrive.

For those that have done split stays how much do you usually tip bell services each time? TIA!

Thanks! Probably just pick it up when we check in then - instead of waiting longer.

We go to Bell Services, tell them that we want our luggage taken to our room. We walk to our room, check things out and within 10 minutes, they deliver the luggage.

We did have to wait a bit the last time, though. Not sure if it was the vast amount of bags we had or the long hallways at Kidani, but it take a bit of time for him to get there.

Easier than trying to drag all those bags to the room, though, that's for sure!
