We are doing a 10 day stay in October and had always planned to stay offsite ar bonnet creek...the more I read on here, the more I want to stay onsite for part of it. Which resorts would everyone recommend for a 3 night stay before we head to Bonnet creek?
I am thinking aoa, LM
Animal kingdom lodge
Caribean beach resort

Kids will be 6,4, and 15 months.

Am wanting to do mnsshp so that day will be a resort day and will do while onsite I am assuming.

This is going to be a hard sell for dh who loves the space of bonnet creek!!

All of those are great choices. We've stayed at AKL and CBR before. What about the Contemporary Resort for days you'll be going to MK and EPCOT? Walking to MK is great and the monorail to EPCOT is easy.

Thanks for your reply. The cr would be my choice but doesnt look kid friendly to me. I have shown the pics to my girls and they dont seem impressed.
is there lots for kids to do there??
We are doing one resort day so i want to make sure there is lots to
do.
Love the look of akl. did you find it hard to get to parks from there ?

My choice would be AKL :). We've stayed at both AKL and CBR and while we loved CBR (and wouldn't hesitate to return), we love the deluxes. AKL is a beautiful resort and it's great being able to watch the animals roam around the savanahs. You don't say which room category you would book, but even if you didn't get a savanah view, there are alot of animal viewing areas around the resort :goodvibes. We've stayed in a savanah view and pool view and I thought the pool view was just as nice as the savanah view. Good luck deciding, but I'm sure you'll have a great stay no matter which resort you choose :wizard:.

I don't think you can go wrong with any!
The main difference between the three is that they vary greatly on price as one is value, one is moderate, and one is deluxe! If price isn't an issue then I would look at the pictures and choose. My family has primarily stayed at the values(with an upcoming trip to AOA Little Mermaid next year as requested by my DD) and we always felt the theming and the pools were pure disney! You feel immersed in the "magic", not deprived. The value rooms are small so that is a down side but honestly ,other than pool time and sleeping, how much time will be spent in the actual room? However if you want to stay in a higher category and can afford to do it comfortably, it may be a chance of a lifetime!

Not sure if I'm correct but it appears you have a family of 5? I also have a family of 5 and therefore have been limited to where we can stay (deluxe, POR w/trundle,or Value suites) unless of course we were to get two rooms. Anyway, if I'm correct I believe out of your choices AoA would be the only choice. Doesn't AK and CB only sleep 4?

You listed great choices and won't go wrong with any of them.

Your youngest doesn't count towards the number of people in your room, so you are fine staying in a room for 4.

If money isn't a factor, consider looking at CR/BLT because you can walk to/from MK. Also have the monorail, making it nice to go to other "monorail resorts". The boat to/from FW and WL is nice too.

The BC/YC/BCV and BW/BWV are great for taking boat to/from HS and you can walk to/from Epcot.

Many, many choices. Good luck and enjoy your vacation.

My choice would be AKL. It's an amazing, gorgeous resort. Lots of unique things for kids to day (check out the Activities sheet there -- it's great) and easy to spend an entire day at the resort. Great pools (with slides) and a fun water-play are that little kids love. And of course, you are surrounded by the animals -- definitely different than any place we have ever stayed. :goodvibes
