Split stay ticket question

So we are doing a split stay next month between BLT and BCV. We are staying on DVC points so our park tickets are not automatically put on our room key at check-in. My plan is to purchase 10-day base tickets from Undercover Tourist next week. Normally on our Disney trips we have guest services add our paper tickets to our room key at the beginning of our trip rather than carring around separate paper tickets. Any suggestions on what to do when on a split stay? If we put the 10-day ticket on our BLT KTTW card, what happens then when we move over to BCV? Can guest services transfer the remaining unused days from out BLT card to our new BCV card? Or are we better off to just keep our paper park tickets separate the entire trip? :confused3

TIA! :goodvibes

I would just leave them on the paper (it's not actually paper, BTW) tickets and not fool with it. You will either have to visit GS twice to have this done or carry 2 KTTW cards at the end of your trip, I don't see enough advantage gained by either scenario to make it worth the time.

When we did a split stay it was very easy for the 2nd resort to transfer our remaining ticket days to our new KTTW card. We had no problems at all.

However, I have seen reports here where folks didn't realize they had a problem after this was done until they tried to enter the turnstyles, and then had to schlep back to the resort to get it fixed.

Not sure whether this helps you or not.
