Finally bit the bullet and booked! June 28 - July 6. It's been a long time since we've been to WDW and boy has it changed. We have always stayed Value and loved it. There are 5 of us going, we are celebrating 2 graduations from HS and 1 from college. As tradition would have it we decided to do 2 rooms at ASMo or a Family Suite at ASMu. I must say I had sticker shock at the cost and the inconsistency of prices across the board. After lots of research and playing around with dates, I was surprise to discover that a moderate was less than a value. Yes we lose a bathroom and some room, but heck we live in a 1 bathroom house so that's not a biggy. We need a room for sleeping. Kids couldn't decide which one so a split stay it is. 4 nights at POR and 4 nights at CRB. First time doing a split stay and first time doing a moderate :). Booking a split stay in moderates was a $750 savings over 2 rooms at a value or a family suite. So to all you who have done split stays, any advice or tips is appreciated.
