The last few times we went to the World we did Split stays.
We have only visited the world 4 times. Our first trip we stayed at All Star Music. We loved it. It was our first time in Disney I think we could have slept on a blanket outside and loved it. Our second trip we we stayed at Pop Century. We loved it there as well. I have to say even though they are value resort, they are still great and provide what is needed, a place to sleep.
On my second trip I bought in to Disney Vacation Club.
On our 3rd trip we could not decide where we wanted to stay so we did a split stay between AKL, OKW, and AKV. It was great. They are very different resorts. We did a value room at AKL and requested a savannah room and pixie dust was upon us because we got it. AKL is my favorite resort out of the 8 places we have stayed in the World. On our second 4th trip we stayed at AKL, BWV, SSR, and BLT. I do not think I would do a 4 hotel split stay again. Three will be my max. Let me point out that we do go for 2 weeks. My least favoeite was probably BWV. I am not saying I didnt like it. I like it better than the values but out of the 6 villas I have stayed at I like it the least. I actually like SSR. Half the people in my party did not and half did. Every Disney resort is different in its own way. Certain ones will appeal to certain people. BLT was great. I dont think it had much appeal for kids though, but we did enjoy all of the pool side trivia. Is there a spot on here to give a more detailed review.
