Split Stay Question

My family have always been thinking about doing split stays, but we get worried about wasting a day when we switch. How is the switch over from Hotel A to Hotel B? Would it waste a whole day, or just be out of Hotel A, in Hotel B, out of B quick and back to the parks???

We did a split stay this summer...3 nights at the Dolphin, followed by 6 nights at BCV.

We checked out of the Dolphin around 9am & went right over to BCV.
We couldn't check-in until around 3 pm, but it was not a wasted day for us, as all we wanted to do was hang out at the resort & swim anyway. I don't think we even made it to a park that day! Love, love, LOVE BCV!

(We have decided to skip the split stay next summer & just go to BCV).

We are splitting our stay this Oct. between Dolphin/Pop. Will the Dolphin move our luggage for us?

I've done a split stay a couple of times. We had bell services pick up and transfer our luggage to 2nd resort. Then went and checked in our room was not ready so we headed to a park. When we were done at the park we went to the resort called bell services they delivered our luggage. It was easy the hardest part was packing to move. If you have the resort move your luggage it won't be at the new resort until after I think they said 4. Since we were at a park we didn't care.

When we do a split stay, the day we change is a resort day at the new resort. Last August we went from WL to BC - checked into BC about 10 AM with our swimsuits under our clothes and headed to the pool for the day. We had lunch by the pool and just relaxed. We got our room at about 2 PM and out luggage arrived shortly after. You definately don't waste a lot of time.
