Split Stay Question with Dinng added to 1st stay

We have a split stay with 3 nights at AKV Kidani, and 5 nights at AKV Jambo. Just started thinking of adding dining package to our split stay in August. I don't want it for the whole vacation but would it be worth it to add to three nights we are Kidani? How do the dining credits work after you check out of the original hotel? Do they expire at midnight of the day you check out? Or could we still use them while we are at Jambo house?

This is what we do. We have a small amount of points so we like to split our stays. We do Su-Mo in a studio and then Tu/Wed/Th in a 1BR. Since we don't usually arrive until after 5pm on Sunday, we only use one credit that night. Then we essentially have credits available for Monday and Tuesday. On Wednesday and Thursday, we eat leftovers from our 1BR's kitchen.
