Split stay question - magic bands & luggage

One item of note regarding moving of the bags.
We did a 3 Resort stay last May.
We had Bell Services move our bags from AoA to CR. Bell Services at AoA said we did not have to remain in the room until they picked up the bags.
We then moved from CR to YC. CR Bell Services did require us to remain in the room until they picked up the bags.
I am not sure why the differences or what the official policy is.
Thankfully it didn't take a long time for the CM to get to us at CR but it is something to consider if you are in a tight time crunch

If you don't want to wait for Bell Service to come pick up the bags, you also have the option of taking the bags to Bell Services yourself. Which you may not wish to do if you have a great many bags or very heavy bags, but it can eliminate the waiting time.

Either call them to pick up your bags, or take your bags down to the bell services desk and tell them you want a transfer. They will NOT automatically know which resort you are transferring to, you will have to tell them. You won't receive the bags until later in the evening, usually after 4 PM, so if there is anything you will need, carry it with you.
