split stay- PPH concierge TPV/ PPH Standard

Hi. I was wondering if anyone has experience with a split stay.

Background: I booked an 8 night stay standard room with concierge level. Decided to downgrade to a standard room with no concierge then had major remorse about it and have been trying to get it back since. I've called weekly.

Today I was able to add it back but it was only available for 6 nights and it changed to a premium view room. So now I have 2 reservations and I may have to change rooms.

I would have no problem upgrading the last 2 nights but it's not available right now. Does the hotel usually enforce moving from a room when you have 2 reservations? The CM I spoke with said they usually try to accommodate but may not be able to if the hotel is full. has anyone been able to add concierge level during their stay?

I can so relate so I'm going to laugh with you

If you called the Hotel I think they will do their best to add it if available. I would call daily and then for sure at the 5 day out mark (that's when others might cancel). We have traded rooms mid stay before. On our upcoming trip we have a suite but most of the family isn't coming the first day so we just booked two rooms (fantastic summer ending rate) for the first night and will be changing on our second day. I didn't get club because we can change rooms at 6 the next morning (technically just get the club card I'm sure room won't be ready) so there was no need. On prior times they were wonderful and moved our stuff for us no problems, no issues. I think you have good luck adding it to the end of your trip though -- good luck!
