Split Stay. POP and POFQ

We will be staying 3 nights at POP and then 4 at POFQ. How easy is this going to be? Do I let them know when we check in at POP that we will be moving?

When you check out, tell them you are moving to another resort. They will take you luggage there so when you return from the parks it will be at the new place, ready for you to check in. Just remember, when bording the bus that it will be to the new resort!

We are doing something similar, we are going from AKL 5 nights to POFQ for 5 nights.

Does anyone know what kind of tip we should leave, I would really love for them to be able to pick our luggage up and move it to the new resort that would be just awesome.

When you check out they will hold your luggage at the POP and then during the day they will transfer it to the POFQ. We transferred to the Poly from the POFQ and I think that they told us our luggage would go to the Poly sometime after 1:00. I'm not sure what time it actually got there, because we did not go to the resort until after dinner.

Bumping this up - does anyone know what you should do for tipping?

Just give whatever you'd normally tip if they were bringing the bags to the car. I think the going rate is $1-2/bag. Same thing when it is delivered to you at the new resort.

At the Pop, you don't have to be in the room when the luggage is delivered or picked up.

You may not get a chance to tip the cm, the bags may already be in the room by the time you get there. This happened to us when we stayed at Pop. We checked in early and our room was not ready yet, so we went to the park. Pop held the bags for us By the time we got back that afternoon after 4, the bags were there already.
