Hello,

My father and I will be doing a split stay coming up in November. We are doing our first 2 nights at Saratoga and then the remaining 7 at Old Key West. We will be getting our Owner's Locker delivered at some point but I was wondering if anyone had experience with Owner's Locker and a split stay. I've never done a split stay but my understanding is that Disney will transfer our luggage for us (we won't have a car) but will they transfer our Owner's Locker too? We would love to have it at Saratoga with us and at Old Key West but will survive 2 days without it if they won't help transfer it.

Thanks in advance!

Yup. We have four Lockers and have done at least five split stays. Everything is moved, never a problem. Just remember to keep extra cash for the double transfer, LOL, to tip bell services folks. And make sure you update your ON dashboard that the dropoff/pickup spots are different.

Oh yes, no problem, Bell Services will transfer your OL along with your other luggage. We usually call them about an hour before we plan to leave the villa, in case they have a lot of requests. And we tip $5 for the OL plus $1-2 per suitcase depending on size/weight, both when they come to pick up and again on delivery.

Be sure to keep medication and anything else you might need before 4-5 PM, since you might not have access to your luggage before then.

It's not a problem at all. I usually transfer my own stuff as we either drive or rent a car, but bell services will transfer it for you. Just don't plan on getting it until 4 or 5 pm. Also they don't transfer fridge/freezer items. They will hold them, but won't transfer them as they can't guarantee to keep the food/meds/etc cold. Also make sure you update your dashboard so that OL knows that the pick up location is different than the drop off spot.

Thanks everyone! This is all so helpful. Especially about the timing on when to call and the tipping suggestions. I have been doing Disney for many years but there's always something new to learn. Lol.
