Split Stay Luggage Question

We are staying at the Poly for 7 nights in May. We are going to add a night at PoP at the end due to flights being so much cheaper to leave out early the next morning.

Does Disney still transfer luggage for you?

DME will be picking us up at an extremely early time -4:30AM -but yay for another full Disney day. Would it be possible to have them hold most of the luggage we won't be using at luggage services so we don't have to drag it to the room and back? If so we could just pack what we need for the night in a small carry on.

One potential issue will be retrieving anything early in the morning from storage. There can be very limited assistance and you don’t want to have a timing issue with ME.

Yes they will definitely be able to transfer your luggage to POP. You can call from your room to have them come get it (usually takes 20 or so minutes) or drop it to bell services on your way out. Unlike magical express where they automatically deliver to your room, you will have to call bell service at Pop and request it be delivered to your room that afternoon/evening. I know they can hold overnight but unfamiliar with access early morning as other poster mentioned.
