Probably been asked a zillion times, but if you are doing a split stay between 2 resorts, how do you get moved from one to the other? TIA!

Hi, We have done it a few times. Disney transfers the luggage and we took the Disney bus or monarail. It was not a big deal. Hope that helps..

Let Disney move your luggage....call luggage services/bell services first thing in the morning when you want to leave. Then, once that's taken care of, I like to head off to a park for a few hours before lunch. Then, I leave the park and go to the 'new' resort, and checkin. Most times I have been able to get into my room then, unless it's a DVC situation. I eat some lunch and then head back out to the parks.
It usually takes until late afternoon for your bags to get to you at the new resort.

We have moved from one resort to another for the past two visits and I think the next trip is already heading that way too. Nothing different to add except that having Disney handle the move is real easy. The only problem we had was that we were exhausted the day of our move because we did the Sunrise Safari at AKL the morning of our move and when we got into VWL we needed a nap. Bell services called three times over a span of time to confirm that we were indeed going to be in the room for drop off. That disturbed the DW's nap time. I guess if you are planning on napping when you arrive at the second resort you might want to let bell services know not to disturb you.
