Hey gang! Need some help figuring out the smoothest way to work a split stay with dining plan, etc.

First, it's all on DVC points if that matters. Not sure that it does.

We are arriving April 28th to Beach Club. We are doing one night there, added onto our original plans because this is a surprise trip for DD4 and DD8. All DD4 has been talking about lately is wanting to go to the beach, so we thought a night at the beach club with the sand bottom pool would be nice.

I'm way too chatty. Okay. One night, April 28th, BC, no dining.

Then the morning of the 29th we're going to get up and send our bags on over to BLT while we head out to a park. We have a reservation in a studio for three nights at BLT with the dining plan.

Then on May 2nd we switch from the studio booking at BLT to a 2-br booking at BLT When my mom and her husband arrive to spend a few days with us. Also with dining plan.

Guess the biggest question is.... we have two separate ressies at BLT to reflect the two different room categories, etc. So the dining plan corresponds with those. So on the morning of the 2nd when we check out of the studio and we still have a counter service sitting on our room key, it's good till...when?

AND we really wanted to have our first round of dining plan to use the CS that morning of the 29th, but we're not actually going over to check in at BLT till that early afternoon. Is there anyway that the concierge at BC can 'check us in' at BLT /give us keys/dining plan over there?

:confused3 We basically want to be able to start using our ddp the morning of the 29th but don't really want to go all the way over to BLT that morning from BC. Anyway around this?

I'm sure there is an easier way to ask this question, but right now, I'm still fried from the time change. :rolleyes1

Your credits will be good until midnight on the day you check-out (and back in again).

I don't think there is anyway to get your credits without going over to BLT and checking in.

That's correct - no DDP credits until you go and check in at BLT and get your KTTW card. But you can do that very early in the morning and then go to a park. That's what we normally do if we're switching hotels during a trip. Very simple if you have a car, not so much if you don't. But you could easily take the bus from BC to MK in your situation and walk over to the Contemporary. Some situations can be much more complicated.

You will have to check into BLT to activate the dining plan. The computers roll over at 6 AM or 7 AM (depending on who is posting) and once that happens you can check into your BLT room. The quickest way to BLT is to take a taxi to the CR. Taking the bus to the MK and walking over to the CR is also possible, but more time consuming.

Any leftover credits from the first Dining plan will be good until 11:59PM on that check out date. They will remain on the KTTW card so you'll need to carry that one around during that day.
