Split stay - getting from one resort to another

We have a split stay coming up in August. We prefer to move our luggage so we need to get from one resort to another. If we Uber, will we have trouble getting dropped off at the entrance to our resort? I’m reading that this has been the case in some instances, not necessarily for a resort stay but for people with ADRs. I guess there is really no other options at this point other than Uber to move between resorts? No Minnie Vans yet?

If you have a reservation at at resort you will have no problem being let in. The guard will ask for your magic band/name to confirm and then let your Uber drop you off.

We had no problems moving from AKL to BLT early in the morning. The guard just scanned my magic band.
