Split Stay, Few Questions

Thanks to everyone who gave me ideas on my thread about which moderate to choose. Finally decided on POFQ. After going over my funds, I have found that I can actually split my stay between POFQ and one of the premium resorts. My gf and I are going in mid-August for 5 nights. I figured I would surprise her and spend the last two nights (a Friday and Saturday) in one of the better resorts. We are both in our mid 20s and don't have kids. We plan to get a 4 day park hopper and pretty much do one park a day. I just had a few initial questions and I'm sure with the responses I get I'll have a couple more so bear with me if you can.
1. Changing resorts is fairly easy right? I can have them transport our bags while we go to one of the parks and then check in later that night?

2. Is it easiest to book the hotels on the WDW website, or should I actually call there to make the reservations so they know I'm switching mid-stay?

3. Recommendations on which of the following would be best to stay at. BC, YC, or BW. We would be staying in the hotels, not the villas.

4. I see in some of the BC threads people referring to SAB, what does that stand for?

Thanks in advance for all of the help, look forward to hearing some suggestions!

1. Changing resorts is fairly easy right? I can have them transport our bags while we go to one of the parks and then check in later that night? Changing resorts is simple. call luggage service and they will come to your rooms and get your bags, simply tell them that you are checking out but going to another resort (tell them which one) later in the day your luggage will be delivered to your second resort. You can go to the parks and enjoy your day. When you are ready go to your new resort and check in.
2. Is it easiest to book the hotels on the WDW website, or should I actually call there to make the reservations so they know I'm switching mid-stay? I have always made my reservations by phone, this way everything is together. Keep in mind that you will need to make 2 deposits, if you make a room only reservation you will be charged the cost of one night for each of your resorts.
3. Recommendations on which of the following would be best to stay at. BC, YC, or BW. We would be staying in the hotels, not the villas. We have stayed at the YC and I really loved it. A lot of the rooms in the BC do not have a full size balcony, and because of that I chose the YC over the BC
4. I see in some of the BC threads people referring to SAB, what does that stand for?
It is the pool at the BC/YC and it stands for Stormalong Bay.

All 3 resorts are great. If you care about the swimming pool, then I would recommend YC or BC over BW. We stayed at the YC because we wanted a balcony and the atmosphere in the lobby is a little more "grown up" than the BC.

Stormalong Bay is like a mini-waterpark pool complex shared by the BC and the YC. There is one large slide, bubbles, sandy lagoons, and a whirlpool. There are photos of it on allears.net and others on this website. If you tend to choose hotels based on their pools, look no further.

If you dont care about the pool, then BW is really fun (also has a nice pool with a slide, BTW) because there are so many shops/restaurants right there.

All 3 are a great choice for theming, location, etc.

Hope this helps! Good luck and happy planning!
