Split stay DVC/Swan Dolphin

I have done split stays within DVC resorts,but have never thrown the Swan/Dolphin into the mix.

I am considering staying at DVC then Swan/Dolphin and then back to DVC.

Using Swan/Dolphin over the weekend when the points at DVC are higher.

Will DVC transfer lugage to the Swan/Dolphin?

Also if I were to stay at DVC using M.E. when I arrive, if at the end of my stay I was at the Swan/Dolphin could I use M.E. to be returned to the air port?

Dolphin/Swan are not WDW resort.

so no. DVC will not transfer luggage to them.
again no. DME is only for WDW resorts.

go with a value resort (cheaper too) and you can transfer luggage and have DME. Okay not as nice.

I understand it isn't DVC, and that is why I asked. I have done split stays at DVC in the past.

Just e-mailed the Swan/Dolphin and asked them I'll post their reply.

I know a mod would be cheaper, but I want to be able to have a park at my doorstep.Swan/dolphin puts me a 10 min boat ride from 2 parks, VS a bus ride from a budget.

Called the BW bell sercices and they WILL transfer lugage to the Swan/dolphin just like they would any WDW resort.

M.E. is another can of worms. The only way to use M.E. on both legs of the trip would be for the start of the trip and the end of the trip to be at a WDW resort.

We have had our luggage transferred many times between BWV and the Dolphin. We always use the Dolphin for our Friday and Saturday nights. \


As far as ME goes you might want to do as you stated DVC at the first and the end of your trip!

By the way we used to always use the Dolphin before we joined DVC and we have had great stays there.

I am surprised that BWV will handle the transfer, but that us great. Before joining DVC, we stayed at the Swan many times and loved it. I have considered doing the same thing someday.
