Split stay during free dining

I've never done a split stay before, and I was wondering if it was possible for a 6 night stay during free dining. Will Disney allow me to split the hotel stay with a 6 night package?

You'll have to purchase tickets with each reservation. There really isn't anything called a split reservation. It's just two or three reservations one after the other.

To get free dining, you have to purchase tickets. If you book two different hotels, you will need to buy tickets with each package to get free dining. You don't necessarily have to use both sets of tickets - you could buy tickets with your first stay to cover the whole trip, then save the tickets from the second stay for another trip. You would have to purchase at least two day tickets for everyone with each resort stay, but you could save the second set and upgrade them when you return to WDW on another trip.

If you wanted to travel during free dining on your next trip, though, you would have to buy tickets as part of the package then as well.

Also, you can't carry your dining credits for 6 days. They will expire at midnight of the day you check out from each resort.
