Split stay ? don't want 2 bands...

staying a few nights at Art of Animation then a few at Beach Club my hopper tickets are on the first stay as it was less expensive but how do I do it without getting 2 bands thanks!!

You can go on mde and refuse one pair of bands. Your information is saved on mde not on the mb.

We have three nights at animal kingdom and a week at old key wet coming up in March. When I got the email for customizing the bands, it automatically linked the bands for both hotels. This was in My Disney Experience.

You don't have to get both sets but if you do they will both work for both legs of your trip. My dd's and I like to alternate colors for fun!
If that doesn't appeal to you then instead of customizing both sets in MDE just decline the second set.

It's NOT on your bands. Your tickets are linked to your MDE page.

The bands are like a debit card and MDE is like your bank. The money isn't on your card - the card just gets the info from your bank account. Any bands attached to your MDE account will read your MDE info.
