We will be doing a split stay for the first time in December. 12/18-12/22 at VWL and 12/22-12/25 at AKV Jambo house. This is our first split stay. I am happy to be staying at my two favorite WDW resorts. I plan on getting 7 day park hoppers because we won't be going to the parks the first day and we only go to WDW every other year so APs don't make sense for us.

So my question is, do you just keep your park hoppers and room keys separate? Or is there some way to put your tickets on your room key a la KTTW?

And why am I wondering about this now, seven months before I leave?!? Well, I have to have something to do between now and then . . . :rotfl: This is probably an easy question and I am just making it too hard!

Hey there!
I have the same situation. I leave this Thursday 5/21 and will be at SSR til 5/24 and then I check in to OKW til 5/27. We will be purchasing 6 day park hopper passes so I can let you know how it works out when I return!!

If anyone else can tell us how this works in advance that would be great!!

Thanks!!

We've done it, yes you can. When you get to your 2nd resort, you'll have to have them then take off the remaining ticket days from the original KTTW cards and transfer them over to your new KTTW cards. It's not a major hassle, but it can take a few moments. When we last did it last year (maybe the actual process has changed since then, I'm not sure) - the front desk issued the KTTW cards, and then we had to walk over to the Concierge to have them actually add/transfer the ticket media. It added a few extra minutes to our total check-in process, but it wasn't bad. Now we have AP's, so the next 3 trips we'll be keeping 2 cards, but that's not so bad either.

Thanks for your replies! I have APs at DL and have two tickets and its fine. It is just in Dec I have five people with me and the fewer things to keep track of the better!

sbathg1 have a wonderful time WDW!
