Split stay: BC / BCV 1 bedroom: Looking for input!

Seeking your input on this plan:

Me, my 1 yr old and 5 yr old with my mom will be going down during free dining for 7 nights. We will check into a standard at BC for 3 nights, 6 day park hopper / free dining.

My husband is joining us our last 4 nights, so we will check out of the BC standard room, then check into a BC villa 1 bedroom, room only, AAA rate.

This ends up being a lot cheaper for us than getting him a standard BC room once he joins us. We won't have free dining for the final 4 nights and we will have to buy him a 3 day park ticket. But it still works out cheaper.

WE will be giving up the nice, newly renovated BC room, but we won't have to worry about whether or not they give us connecting rooms (I want to be close to my kids!) and also.

Thoughts? This saves us about $500 total.

Uh oh, I'm getting objections to a pull out couch! Yikes. I'd better see how much more a 2 bedroom is! there goes my savings!

The one bedroom sleeps 4 plus one under 3 in a crib. You will have a King bed in the Master bedroom and a Queen sleeper sofa in the LR.
Adult DS slept on the Sleeper Sofa and was fine, That was the old style. Last trip we stayed at BWV and they have the new sofa's. He said it was really comfy. I think the BCV have this new styel too now.
Will your Mom and your 5 yo share the sofa? Will the 1 yo be in a pack n play in the Master?
I think it is do able, if you choose to.
Having the full kitchen, the whirlpool tub and the washer and dryer make it worthwhile to us.

Thanks for the info! Well, no one wants to do the 1 bedroom villa. I swear these people have expensive taste on a beer budget! We'll have to fork over the extra $$ to stay in 2 separate rooms.
