(I am not sure whether to post this here or on the Theme Parks board... moderator, please move if in the wrong place.)

We leave in three weeks (yay!) for a 9 day trip. We start off staying off-site for 2 nights and then check into POR, followed by SSR. The POR part of the stay includes our park tickets. Can someone verify that our tickets will not be active until we check into POR? It would be nice to go to the park while we are off-site, but I don't think that's possible, correct? TIA! :earsgirl:

Hi, I have a split stay in April and I was told by a Disney rep at the time of booking that the tickets are active 10 days before the start of a package on the magic band. Hopefully if this isn't true someone will let us know.

You can activate your tickets up to 10 days in advance. This must be done at a Guest Relations or Ticket Window as the CM needs to access your account to activate the tickets.

Because the packaged tickets are not active until you request their activation, you cannot prebook FPs for those offsite park days. As soon as you activate your tickets, go into MDE and book FPs.
