Does this also work for online check-in?

Sorry I can't help you with that - but I would guess no because online check in can be done days in advance. I did online check in for our last trip and still had to go activate our magic bands because most of them didn't even work.

Ive done a split stay before POFQ to CR. Cleared bill at both resorts before check out. Somehow some resort charges from POFQ didnt come through until after I was home. I refused to pay it since I always go to resort to clear out my balance before I leave property. Disney decided to pay it themselves. Watch late bills coming through on split stays.

Yep, was not happy that there is no way for me to check additional charges to my room after the day is closed out. I cleared out my bill but had other charges later. Happened to check MDE at 9pm that night and saw them. Next morning, thus had disappeared from my MDE. No way to find out charged after other than calling.
