We are doing a split stay and are considering not renting a car. So I assume it's easy enough to have our luggage and things sent over to the BCV from VWL? What about any perishable food left? Is there somewhere to store that as well?

We've never not rented a car and just trying to see if it's easy enough without one.

Also, any recommendations on grocery delivery services?

We used garden grocer in 2009 and we had no complaints! I'd also like to know about the split stay/moving groceries, etc. since I'm trying for a split stay next time without a car.

Bell services will get your stuff from point a to point b...but it can be an all day affair.
{In the past I have read reports of this here on the DIS, I don't have first hand experience}

In the past some folks have posted they've just rent a taxi, that way you're assured your stuff is at the resort you'll be checking into, and you can give your foodstuffs that need to be kept cold directly to the bell services at your 2nd resort.

I've done a couple of split stays and had no issues with Bell Services whatsoever. Not with timing or with food storage (you just need to tell them which bags to keep in the fridge or freezer.) I would never bother paying for a taxi. I generally budget $10 for Bell Services for each portion of the move between resorts - and I let them handle it from door to door. Well worth the price. Never waited more than an hour to get our things after check in at the new resort.
