Split stay and luggage transfers

Does Disney deliver your luggage to your room if you do a split stay or do you have to pick it up at Bell Services. I thought only ME delivered to your room......

Our last trip (CSR to Pop) they actually did bring our bags to the room at Pop when we were out in the parks. We didn't expect it and stopped at luggage assistance before going to the room to pick up our bags, where they told us they were already brought to the room. You can also have bell services bring your bags to your room when you're in there if they don't do it automatically.

Normal operation is that they will be at Bell Services at resort #2. On rare occasions they will deliver to your room but it's not to be expected.

Do you call them to bring them up then?

Yes. And in my experience you need to be in the room or else they won't deliver. It can be a pain sometimes because it could take awhile and you end of wasting park time. I always take a cab or Uber in the a.m. and drop off my luggage at resort #2 (if the room isn't ready). you are the free to go about your day. On the way back into the resort, stop by the front desk and pick-up your luggage from bell services.

Which you can also do if they move your luggage for you.

Agreed. The only difference is you can’t control the availability/delivery of your luggage to your room.
