We are new DVC members and I am considering a split stay between two resorts (to try them out) but I was wondering if there is a place to store your refrigerated groceries until check-in time for the new room (for the second half of the stay). If there isn't I will just stay at one resort the entire time. Thanks!

They do...when you drop bags for transfer, just tell bell service which one needs to stay refrigerated, they will take care.

We've done this a few times and in a couple of different ways. BlackTea's method above works and it's really easy.

Last week, we moved from BCV to RIV and had a car. So, around lunchtime, I drove our car (we don't normally have one but did this time) over to RIV, dropped off our cold food bag with Bell Services, and took the Skyliner back to BCV for another 5-6 hours at SAB. Then, when we were ready to make the move, we all hopped back on the Skyliner to RIV. It was delightful. I did pick up the bag from the Bell stand, but only because going to the lobby at RIV was fun. We liked it.

If you aren't aware, Disney will transfer your luggage (and groceries) from one resort to another for free (just the tips for the Bell Services folks). You can either take your stuff down to Bell Services or have them come get it from your room. Put your refrigerated and frozen items in separate bags and let Bell Services know which is which. They'll store them appropriately at each resort and during the transfer.

You won't have access to your bags after you drop them off, until they arrive at the new resort. That should be between 3 and 4 pm. Bags will not be delivered automatically to your new room. You have to call from your room or pick them up yourself from Bell Services.

It's a simple process that let's you head to a park in the morning from one resort and then go to your new resort in the evening where you can pick up all your stuff.

Enjoy.
