Split stay and discount codes

I am considering a split stay next June. Do you have to book two packages to do this?
Also, say I arrive on June 10 and there is a spring discount code which ends June 11. Then I move to the new resort on June 15. Could I use the same discount code?

You have to make 2 reservations. They can be 2 packages, 2 room only reservations, or 1 room only reservation and 1 package.
