I have read on here where some people have had split stays and things went well. Ours did not. We split stays between the Contemporary and the Animal Kingdom Lodge 2 years ago. Both resorts are great. No complaints. Our luggage was delivered reasonably and without any problem at all. But, the extra hassle of packing and unpacking twice is a headache. And, our room was not correct when we moved to the Animal Kingdom Lodge so that took a while to correct. I personally would not do it because I don't think it is worth the extra effort. I feel like I wasted time on this instead of enjoying myself. But, you may enjoy being able to stay at both on one trip.
