How does a split stay work regarding the 180-day and 60-day advantages for ADRs and FP+? Can you make them for your whole stay as soon as the first hotel window opens, or do you have to wait on the second resort until it is 180 or 60 days out?

Also, can you buy the dining plan to cover the whole stay?

Thanks!

The dining plan associates with each unit of the split stay. So say you are staying 3 nights, then 4 nights. Your first DDP will be for 3 nights, and must be used by midnight after night 3. The second will be for 4 nights, and the credits will only become available when all of the credits from the 3 night stay are gone on the date of your second check-in. You can't mix the credits from both plans.

You have to really treat each check-in like a separate stay for the dining plan, and for the making of ADRs. You can only do 180+length of stay for ADRs, so you will have two 180-day marks.

The 60-day FP will be for the length of both stays, though. Weird loophole to that system.

So if one only one FS dining credit remains from plan1, I can't even use a snack credit from plan2 until plan1 is zeroed of all types of credits? Thanks.

Correct.

And you can't pay with that credit from the first plan, then credits from the next plan, in the same transaction.
