Split Stay - ADRs and LLMP

Hey Folks

We're plotting a split stay later this year and despite my searching, I can't seem to find an answer - how does Disney's system treat split stays as related to ADR and LLMP window availability? Will it treat it as two separate trips (so 60 days + length of first stay, then 60 days + length of second stay for ADRs, for example), or is the system sophisticated enough / lenient enough to treat them as one stay? It may influence our willingness to do the split stay if we give up some days of our on site advantage.

Thanks in advance!

Not sure about LLMP, but for ADR's it is counted as 2 separate stays. I did my first split stay this fall and I was not able to book for the entire stay when my first booking window opened. I even called the dining reservation line to see if they could book it for length of stay for me and they said no, they do not allow it anymore. That was a little disappointing, but I was still able to get everything I wanted, even with the 2 separate windows. You could always try calling (it won't work online), we all know the consistency of CM responses!

For LLMP it considers it as just one trip, but for ADRs it treats it as two separate trips. Occasionally if you call for the ADRs the CM will override the system and book the full trip for you, but we've found that to be rare. Only had a CM willing to do that once over the years.

Adding a question, I am doing a split stay and want to book LLMP. Do I have to put both hotel confirmations in My Disney? The first stay is only one night for late arrival but would like to take advantage of checking in that day and have a LLMP booked. I already have the second part of the trip in my Disney app and have dining and park days assigned. Will these be erased if I add another hotel confirmation?

Yes if you want to book 7 days before your first stay. It is required.

No Dining reservation impact they are actually part of another system and just shown in your MDE Account.

What do you mean by park days assigned? If you mean park reservations that are required for AP holders or for older tickets without a date range, there is no impact if you add your first night stay they will no disappear or change in any way.

Thanks for quick response. We are annual pass holders so we have park reservations. I Couldn't come up with the wording when asking my questions. :) I mainly needed to know if I needed to enter in both my hotel reservations so I can book LLMP on the first night we check in.
