Split Stay ADR

So has the policy changed...it's been two years since we've been but we are doing a split stay and I can only make ADR's for the first part of the reservation not +10 days even though we have a long reservation. Is this a new thing?

Yes, unfortunately since an update earlier this year, the system doesn't recognize split stays anymore.

It's my understanding that if you call they have a way to override it when you provide both your resort reservation numbers.

Many - if not most - people have been refused this even when they ask for a supervisor. It is worth a try, but I wouldn't get my hopes up.

Its total BS that they will not help you with this. I posted the same thread a few weeks back. There are still ways to fight the system.....

Can you not call and get the reservations combined?

I would try going through member services to make the ADRs, they may be able to help you there.

I asked them to link them, but I still have two reservation numbers.

If you used two different use years to book the DVC accommodations, then they will have to remain two separate reservations.

The system has never recognized split stays for ADR's. It use to blindly let you book an extra 10 days regardless of the actual length of your reservation. They "fixed" that loophole online late last year, and "fixed" the system the phone agents use early this year.

So, I guess instead of typing "180+10," we'll just have to start typing "180+[length-of-reservation-up-to-ten-days."

DVC Split Stay- YES- I did this last month and member services was able to help me!

This definitely did work, but it's quite the workaround for MS! But at least I was able to do it. Thanks everyone!
