I am considering splitting my stay between POFQ and CR. Will bell services transfer my luggage or am I responsible? I'm tempted to use the free Magical Express service instead of a rental car. Any info would be great.

Yep, Bell service will transfer the luggage for you! Then you can check in at your leisure and once you have your room, call for your luggage.

We did this in August and they moved our luggage for us. we did have to be there when they picked it up from CBR though. They came when they said they would.

We just got back from POFQ and had a great time. In November we spent six nights at CR and we will never go back. We were thrilled to find that we loved POFQ so much, there was no comparison with CR. I wouldn't split my stay if I were you. If you want to try deluxe try Boardwalk or Beach Club or Animal Kingdom Lodge or even Wilderness Lodge. Just not Contemporary Resort. JMHO

That's funny cause my very first trip to Disney was at Dixie Landing and I wasn't impressed and then two years later we splurged and stayed at the CR and now the CR is my favorite resort. I love it's location, its restaurants, it's views, the monorail and the walk to MK to name a few.

To each his/her own. Different strokes for different folks.

We've stayed at the CR way back in 1994 in a wing room. I wasn't very impressed either. My husband has a fascination with the monorail so I thought we would try a tower room. I read things about worn carpets and furnishings etc. What was it that you didn't like?
